ReViento, a play on words meaning I'm bursting or intensified wind, was a 6-part series of movement and music improvisation that took place after Hurricane Maria. The concept connected varying ideas concerning improvisation between myself and different local musicians with foretelling through movement, an audience participation "game" I have been developing since 2016. Hosted in a typical Santurce house (made of wood with a zinc roof), each performance was "set" in a different part of the house and its surrounding yard. ReViento brought the community together sharing grief through play, music and dance.
